Nestled in the prestigious suburb of Applecross, WA 6153, stands a grand residence on a sprawling 1,032 m² lot. Built-in 1991, this six-bedroom, four-bathroom home was due for a comprehensive makeover, and the Barker Whittle team was entrusted with the task of rejuvenating every inch of this magnificent property, both inside and out.
The Challenge:
This was not just a simple repainting job; it was a full-scale transformation. The scope of work covered every aspect of the home, requiring meticulous planning, skilled craftsmanship, and a keen eye for detail. The project’s scale was immense, and accessing certain areas required the use of scaffolding, adding another layer of complexity to the job.
The exterior painting was extensive, involving the gutters, fascia, eaves, downpipes, rendered walls, and metalwork. Each element had to be carefully prepared and painted to withstand the elements while enhancing the home's aesthetic appeal.
The interior transformation was equally demanding. The entire house, including ceilings, cornices, walls, doors, door frames, and skirting boards, needed a fresh coat of paint. The challenge was to achieve a flawless finish throughout the expansive interior spaces, ensuring that the new look resonated with the home’s luxurious character.
